Edward Arnold "Ted" Murray, Jr., age 80, of Alma passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, March 26, 2020. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 11, 1939 to Edward Arnold Murray and Jean Stokes Short Murray. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Edward Arnold Murray, III, brother, Thomas Edward Murray and sister, Susan Lee Bezemer.

Mr. Ted served in the US Marines, was a Philanthropist and an Entrepreneur. He was Founder and CEO of Industrial Forge in Alma.

Survivors include his wife Renee Streat Murray of Alma, children Thomas Murdock Murray of Marathon Keys, Florida and Kimberly Cameron Murray of Alma, stepson Matthew Dale Murray of Alma, grandchildren Sarah Jean Smith and Nathan Michael Hale and great-grandchild Riley Cameron Smith.

A private graveside was held Saturday, March 28 ^th at Meeks Cemetery with Rev. Timmy Bennett officiating and eulogies were given by Teddy Solomon and Casey Streat.

Crosby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
