Terri Dale Newberry Miles, age 74, passed away February 5, 2024 at her residence after a short illness.

She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late William A. Newberry and Etta Mae Courson Newberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Buddy Newberry, Johnny Newberry, Roy Newberry, Sr. and Billy Newbery; sisters, Rosemary Thompson and Paula Driggers and son in law, Mike Roppe.

Survivors include three children Jerry Miles (Kimberly), Wendy Roppe and Robin Back; three grandchildren, Steelie Roppe, Bailey Miles(Jason Ammons) and Bryce Back; sister, Carlyn Hodge.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Peavy officiating. Active pallbearers will be Ben Ellis, Terry Barber, Roy Newberry Jr., Andrew Newberry, Bubba Newberry and Chip Back. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time.
