Thelma H. Wheeler Lewis, age 93, passed away June 21, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born October 05, 1931, to the late Tom Hayes and Dicy Mims Hayes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, James Wilbur Wheeler and A.C. Lewis, Jr; great-grandchildren, Kiley Faith Haseldon and Emily Nichole Lee; five brothers, Emmitt, Emerson, Elbert, Ernest and Bernie Hayes; two sisters, Ethel and Geneva Ellis; one son-in-law, Jones Haseldon.

She was a member of Bridgford Church of God for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Mullis (Windell) and Wanda Jan Haseldon; five grandchildren, James Haseldon (Melody), Kevin Parker Haseldon, Brandi Lee (Travis), Becky Beckham (Chris), and Stacy Mullis (Crystal); a special niece, Dana Lane; several nieces and nephews and fourteen great-granchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mims Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the funeral home from 6- 8 PM.

Active pallbearers include, James Haseldon, Caden Haseldon, Brayden Haseldon, Gary Ellis, Gary Lane, Chris Beckham, Cody Lee and Jase Lee

Honorary pallbearers include the staff of Comfort Care Hospice of Baxley and all others in attendance.
