Thomas Earl Harris, age 80, of Alma passed away on May 7, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on September 28, 1941 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. His parents Lonzo Crawford Harris and Emmaline Rhodes Harris; three sisters and three sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Beth Alexander Harris of Alma; two sons, Crawford Harris of Alma and Chris Harris of Athens, GA.; daughter, Sherry Harris Rowell (Randy) of Nahunta; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held today Monday, May 9, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Hutcheson officiating.
