Timothy James Carter, age 41, of Alma died suddenly Sunday April 21st, 2013 in Schroon Lake, N Y near his work. He was a native of Bacon County, son of the late James Tillman (J T) Carter and Geneva Sullivan Warden, also preceded in death by a brother, Joey Vernon Tanner. Timothy was a welder working with National Welders in New York.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Rachel Stephens Carter of Alma, an unborn child, a sister, Betty Ann Crawford (Danny) of Kingsland, nieces and nephews, Ashley Smock, Brice Courson, Cody and Drew Tanner, great niece and nephew Rylee and Ryver Tanner, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Carver and Rev. Jimmy Boatright officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Anthony Anderson, Randy Hill, Danny Sullivan, Zach Blackstock, Mithcell Tanner and Billy Crews. Honorary will be, Brian Boatright, Jabber Lee, Filo Medders and Michael Palmer.
