Obituary
Marshall Todd "Pearl" Sweat, age 53, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence after
a short illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Walter Frank Sweat. He was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Louise Akridge Deen of Alma, one brother, Tim Sweat (Lisa) of Hilliard, FL. and a sister, Tina Sweat Burnette of Alma, four nieces and nephews, Greg Burnette, Cory Sweat, Angel Burnette and Michaela Sweat Bell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Lee officiating and eulogy given by Jerald Douglas. Interment will follow in Lee's Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Mike Harrell, Terry Sweat, Mitch Sears, Greg Burnette, James Lee, Cory Sweat, Terry Wayne Johnson and Jody Johnson. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
