Tommy Edward Howell, age 58, of Alma passed away Wednesday, November 16th at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County, son of the late Hancel Howell, Sr. and Colline T. Taylor and was preceded in death by his wife Diane Stille Howell and a brother Larry Joe Howell.

Survivors include two brothers, Hancel H. Howell, Jr. (Faye) and Billy Ray Howell (Jannie) both of Odum, GA., one sister, Diane Heath (Tommy) of Milan, GA., three stepbrothers, Spencer Howell (Lindsey) and Joshua Howell (Jo Ann) both of Folkston, GA. and Thomas Howell (Brittany) of Douglas; also several nieces and nephews survive.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 18th at 11:30 at Carter's Chapel Church with Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
