Trenton F. Stewart, age 57, Alma passed away Wednesday, January 30th in Mayo Clinic in Waycross after a short illness. He was a native of Ware County but had lived in Bacon County most of his life. Trenton was preceded in death by a son, Garrett Stewart. He was a welder for many years and attended Campground United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, J.T. and Betty Carter Stewart, two sons, Payton Stewart (Deanne) and Jesse Stewart (Courtney), one brother, James Terrell Stewart, and a sister, Susan Stewart Lane (Roy Music) all of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 2:00 PM at Campground United Methodist Church with Rev. Pet Hayes, Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Andy Capshaw officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be carried to the church at 1:00 PM to lie in state. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral Friday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Jamie, Shannon, Ryan, Payton, Jesse and James Terrell Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be; Dewayne & Benny Ray Carver, Stevie & Randy Altman, Richard Henriott, Stevie Ellis and Mark Jarrard.
