Valdene Lidsey Bagley, age 86, of Nicholls passed away Thursday, November 19th at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Coffee County, daughter of the late Floyd Lindsey and Barbara Thomas Lindsey and preceded in death by her husband Milton Odell Bagley. Valdene worked with the Alma Times and Wiregrass Shopper for over 40 years and she was a member of Grace Chapel Church.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Bagley of Nicholls and Tommy Bagley (Nikki) of Waycross, four daughters, Sheila Lee (Broughton) of Alma, Sharon Hutchenson of Nicholls, Cindy Hand of Hazlehurst and Tammi Robson of Denver, CO. six grandchildren, Brian Hagains, Kim Howell, Ronnie & Danniel Hutchen, Kevin & Ken Hand and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 22nd at 2:00 PM from Grace Chapel Church with Rev. Billy Mac Dyal officiating. Interment will follow in Old Pine Grove Church Cemetery. The body will be carried to the church at 1:00 PM to lie in state. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Danny Taylor, Greg Griffin, James Anderson, Derrin Lee, Gene Strawder and Jason Gilliard. Honorary pallbearers will be; Bobby Bagley, Gary Graham, Harold Thomas, Pete Lindsey, J. W. Caldwell and Gary Byars.
