Van L. Lee, age 76, of Alma passed away February 25, 2023 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born February 18, 1947 in Bacon County to Alvin Lee and Tina Turner Lee. Besides his parents he was preceded in by an infant daughter, Jada Lee, brother, Robert Earl Lee, three sisters, Jean Lee, Pete Starr and Shirley Jacobs and his mother-in-law, Eunity Lee Sweat.

Mr. Van served in the US Army, was a retired farmer and a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Kay Lee; son, Jon Dustin Lee both of Alma; one brother, Steve Lee (Debbie) of Douglas; two sisters, Vonnie Dubberly (Huey) of Waycross and Sandra Farreira of Florida.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Crosby Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Delk officiating and a personal eulogy given by Leslie Giraldo.
