Virginia Bell Wilson, age 68, of Alma passed away Tuesday, February 19th at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Brunswick, Georgia but had lived in Alma for many years. Virginia was daughter of the late Jimmie Wilson and Tulaf Cook Wilson and preceded in death by a brother, George Lacy Wilson.

Survivors include a brother, Carey Wilson of Rincon, Ga., and three sisters, Lona Mae Edens of Statesboro, Ga., LaFaye Cole of Alma and Sharon Taylor of Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 11:00 at Old Pine Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Warnie Nettles officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.
