Vonnell (Nell) Haselden, age 76, of Alma died Tuesday November 7 ^th , 2017 at Twin Oaks after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County, daughter of the late Chester Arthur Steedley and Willie Mae Hyers Steedley and was also preceded in death by her husband William Edward (Ed) Haselden, a granddaughter Mandy Johnson, two brothers James and Eugene Steedley. Nell was a member of the Alma First Baptist Church and had retired from the Bacon County Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist after 24 years of employment.

Survivors include two daughters Sherry Moore and husband Punkin Moore of Alma, Janet Johnson and husband Ben Johnson of Alma, a sister Latrelle Turner Varnadore and husband L A of Alma, three grandchildren Jamie Moore, Rosalyn Moore and Brittany Dudley all of Alma, two great-grandchildren Rebecca Moore and Keylea Moore both of Alma and a special family David and Natlie Dudley of Alma.

Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 o'clock at Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Rev. R B Gaskin and Rev. Ron Sweatt officiating.

All in attendance will be considered as honorary escort.
