Wanda Anderson, age 67, of Alma passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at The Hospice House after an extended illness. Daughter of Alex Zander Godwin and Jessie Mae Allen Stewart born on May 2, 1952 in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Anderson, brothers Ronnie and Dale Godwin and sisters Evelyn Harris and Betty Hughes.

Survivors include two children Roger Anderson, Jr. (Kym) and Maria Anderson of Alma, brothers Charles Godwin of Hilliard, FL., Phillip Godwin of Nahunta, GA., Jerry Godwin (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL., sisters Jessie Medders of Alma, Shirley Medders of Reidsville, GA., Kathy Burkett of Douglas, GA., Karen Kersey of Alma, GA., grandchildren Garrett and Ansley Anderson, Stevie Martin and a great-grandchild Brysen Martin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Lance Wade and Bro. Jimmy Miles officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Shane Burkett, Dalton Burkett, Bladen Johnson, Harvey Williford, Micah Wade and Billy Ray Dyal. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
