Wanda Kay Sass, age 75, of Alma passed away on October 26, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville after a short illness. Born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 25, 1945 but had lived most of her life in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. B. Leggett,  Vida Daniels Douglas and Loyal Douglas. She was a member of the Alma Church of God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Sass, Sr. and brother, Danny Douglas. Survivors include two children, Robert E. Sass, Jr. (Shanon) and Cindy K. Simmons (Jimmy) of Alma; three grandchildren, Logan Sass (Ezy), Jason and Tara Simmons; two brothers, Melvin Douglas (Connie) and Phillip Douglas (Shirley) of Blackshear; three sisters, Carol Price, Shirley Miles of Jacksonville and JoAnn Bennett of Texas.

A private family graveside will be held at later date.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
