Wanda Whitley, age 74, passed away on March 13, 2025, after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Carl Sweat and Vera Ray Coleman.

Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her fiancé of thirty years, Edward Boatright; three sisters, Carolyn Magliazzo, Annette Batchelor, and Phyllis Vanover; two brothers Ronnie and Van Sweat.

Survivors include one sister Sandra Rochester of Hilliard, FL and many nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. She moved to Alma with her fiancé, Edward Boatright, and helped him raise his two children, Daniel and Chuck Boatright.

She had a love for horses. She raised them and  barrel raced, in which she  won many ribbons.

She was loved and will be missed by so many.
