Waylon Dan Boatright, age 38, of Alma passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 16th, 2015. He was a Blueberry farmer and a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church. Waylon was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Dan Boatright, paternal grandparents, Roe and Delphine Jordan Boatright and maternal grandfather, Ernest Crowder.

Survivors include, his wife of 13 years Kimberly Godwin Boatright, his parents, Dan and Linda Crowder Boatright, , a daughter, Bindi Cecile Boatright, three sisters, Wendy Horton (Rhett), April Lee (Darowyn) and Ashlyn Boatright and his maternal grandmother, Betty Wade Crowder all of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2nd at 2:00PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Varnadore officiating and eulogies will be given by April Boatright Lee and David Alderman. Interment will follow in Ten Mile Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Jasper Allen, Daniel Alderman, Len Martinez, Jeffery Carter, Cone Martinez, Lance Davis, Reece Pierce, Jody Johnson, Rich Shirey, Trey Davis and Shawn Hollingsworth. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
