Waymon Nickey Hollingsworth, age 66, of Alma passed away Friday February 16 ^th at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was a retired farmer a member of Corinth Baptist Church and the son of the late Darwell and Bernice Hughes Hollingsworth.

Survivors include son Shawn Hollingsworth (Scheryl) of Alma, daughter Nicole Poore (Daniel) of Jesup, sister Elondia Carter (Bentley) of Alma, grandchildren Dustin (Christina), Skyler, Averi, Anna Kate, Addox, Morgan, Nate, and Ethan, great grandchild Tucker, nephew Kyle Carter (Linsey), niece Hannah Mayers (Cameron) and great niece Lillian Mayers.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11AM at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hughes and Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating, and a eulogy given by Donnie Westberry. Internment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Jones, Toby Reeves, Andrew Wildes, Justin Wildes, Teddy Varnadore, Matt Thrift, Edward White, and Marcus Osteen. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escort. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 6-9 PM.
