Obituary
Wayne William Hood, age 55, of Monroe, North Carolina passed away Thursday, October 29th at the Carolina Medical Center in Monroe, North Carolina after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and great-grandparents.
Survivors include his parents, Clarence D. Hood and Cornelia I. Wynn Hood of Monroe, North Carolina, a brother, Danny Hood of Waxhaw, North Carolina, sister, Karen Hood Martin (Danny) of Monticello, Georgia, four nieces and nephews, Amanda Martin of Columbus, Georgia, Stephanie Hood of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Justin Martin of Monticello, Georgia and Bradley Hood of Waxhaw, North Carolina, several aunts, uncles and great aunts and uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 1st at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Vic Peacock officiating and a eulogy given by Bill Murphy. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:30 until funeral time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300?Rockville, MD 20852 or the American Heart Association/
American Stroke Association 4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
