Wendi Denise Wilbanks, age 45, of Alma passed away Friday, March 20th at the residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late William R. "Billy" Wynn. Wendi was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Allen Neal Wilbanks of Alma, her mother, Linda Gail Lewis Wynn of Alma, one daughter, Brittany Nicole Wilbanks of Alma, a sister, Marie Miles (Mikeal) of Alma, maternal grandmother, Wilma Thornton of Alma, mother-in-law, Lucille Wilbanks of Alma, nephews, Will Miles and Justin Wilbanks, nieces, Amy Brannen (Chris) and Jaycee Wilbanks, great-nephews, Levi and Hunter Brannen and a great niece, Adalynn Brannen of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 24th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Kenyon Fennell, Rev. Bill Stone officiating and eulogy given by, Sharon Ruis. Interment will follow in Big Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Will Miles, Ottis Lewis, Chad Thompson, Justin Pryor, Vincent Wilbanks and Will Schell. Jr. pallbearers will be; Justin and James Wilbanks and Garrett Ahl. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
