William Michael Alexander, age 64, of Alma passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Bacon County on January 21, 1954 to the late William Hayden Alexander and Sarah Moody Alexander. His wife Lori Lee Alexander, a son, W. M. Alexander and a sister, Janet Marie Alexander preceded him in death. William was a member of Waycross Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Lily Hyers (Luke), one sister, Paula Alexander of Nicholls, GA., 2 grandchildren, his mother-in-law, Jackie Smith of Alma and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 16 ^th at 2:00 PM at Martha Memorial Church with Pastor Curtis Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Branden Bass, Michael Oglesbee, Derek Ross, J.  C. Purvis, Allen Jewel and Ethan Tompkins. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
