William Danny Harrelson, Sr., age 64, of Alma passed away Friday, November 23rd in the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville after a short illness. He was a native of Jeff Davis but had lived in Bacon County most of his life. Danny was son of the late Quincy Woodrow Harrelson and Lillie Hughes Harrelson and preceded in death by three brothers, Winton, Billy & Wadus Harrelson. He served in the US Army during Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Williford Harrelson, three sons, Andy Harrelson (Sally), Brian Harrelson & Danny Harrelson, Jr. and adopted son, Wiley Williford all of Alma, two daughters, Shelia O'Quinn (Charles) of Surrency & Cindy Hosmer (Tony) of Hazlehurst, six grandchildren, Kyle & Brittany Hosmer, Lisa Crummey, Tiffany Studstil, Tyler & Taylor Hosmer and four great-grandchildren, Haley & Tansley Crummey, Trent O'Quinn and Trinity Studstil.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 27th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Minister Shirley Jump officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening between the hours of 6 and 9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Active pallbearers will be; Eric Duncan, Darwin Harrelson, Harvey, Carlton, Patrick and Rocky Williford. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
