William Everett King, age 66, of Alma passed away October 23, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on November 12, 1955 in Toombs County to the late Eddie King Maggie Emma Daniels King. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ronda Durrance.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Robin Fender King of Alma; three children, Dustin King & Tiffany of Alma, Candy King of Baxley and Barbara King of Alma; three brothers, Eddie King, Jr. of Lyons, David King & Judy of Kingsland and Hershel King of Alma; two sisters, Teresa Hutcheson of Alma and Beverly Giles of Vidalia; seven grandchildren, Dawson King, Maggie King, Skyler Poole, Summer King, Will Touchstone, Braxton King and Sadie King and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bishop R. B. Gaskins and Pastor Mark Carver officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:30 PM until funeral time. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
