William 'Bill" L. Canady, age 78, of Jesup, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after and extended illness. He was born in Charlton County on February 13, 1942 to the late Robert Elton Canady and Mattie Estell Conner Canady. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Christopher Canady, three brothers, Rupert, Ralph and Robert Canady, two sisters, Elna Pate and Juanita Firth and a grandson, Christopher Canady.

Survivors include his wife Valerie Ann Canady of Jesup, GA., four children Robert Canady of Jacksonville, FL., Michael Canady and wife Angela of Lady Lake, FL., Nicole Endsley of Bellview, FL. and Amber Canady of Jesup, GA., 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church Cemetery in Folkston, GA.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
