William F. "Hank" Tapley, age 70, of Hazlehurst passed away on August 25, 2020 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. He was born on February 7, 1950 to Ralph Tapley and Geneva Harper Tapley. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Raulerson Tapley, brothers, Billy and Ronnie Tapley and sister Susan Marie Tapley. He was a member of Abundant Life in Alma.

Survivors include three children, Belinda Medders (Mark) of Alma and Kathy Wallin (Donnie) of Vidalia, and Daniel Carelock of Alma. Four grandchildren, Chasity Carter, Brock Carter (Victoria), Christi and Matthew Medders, six great-grandchildren, Blaze Tanner, Jaxon Simmons, Braiden & Logan Carter, Carter & Madden Faulk, a sister in law, Ellen Tapley Nephews, Rodney  and  Wayne Tapley. Nieces, Stacy Tapley and Billie Ann Wilson. Great nephews, Matt Tapley, Jasper Wilson. Great nieces, Ashley Johnson, Courtney Boatright, Brittney McCoy, Stacia Boatright, Emily Tapley and Jessica Wilson.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Abundant Life/Elizabeth Chapel Church at 3:00 PM.
