Windal Scott Medders, age 45, of Nicholls passed away suddenly on July 9, 2022 Born on March 9, 1977 in Bacon County. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Franklin and Loretta Johnson Medders; maternal grandparents, Andrew Bud and Lavada Johnson and paternal step grandmother, Vernell Surrency Medders.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Johnson (Rickey) Justice of Nicholls; father Windal (Regina) Medders; two sons, Caleb Austin Medders and Carver Kole Medders; two brothers, Kevin (Amy) Medders and Austin Riley Medders and sister, Aimee (Shell) Simmons.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 20 ^th at 10:00 AM at Elizabeth Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Pet Hayes and Bishop R. B. Gaskins officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery from 9:00 AM until funeral time.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
