Wynell Cliett Adams, age 85, of Nicholls passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Memorial Health University in Savannah after a short illness. Daughter of Felton Cliett and Myrtice Tanner Cliett born in Coffee County on October 22, 1933. Her husband Herman Adams, son Tedrick Gordon Adams, brothers Calvin, Bradley, David and Jack Cliett and sisters Thelma Pohl, Vera Tyre and Rose Adams preceded her in death. She was a member of the Nicholls Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Herman Adams (Michelle) of Douglas, GA., John Lawrence Adams of Nicholls, GA., brother Frank Cliett (Sue) of Savannah, GA., 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 29 ^th at 11:00 AM at Nicholls Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. The body will be carried to the church at 10:00 to lie in state. Interment will follow in Meeks Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Herman Adams, Lawrence Adams, Jason Adams, Bruce Adams, Casey Adams and Charlie Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be; Milford Anderson, Larry Gunn, Stanley McElroy and Sonny Lyons.
