Zana Lee Patrick May, age 83, of Alma passed away January 12, 2024 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after a short illness. She was born January 4, 1941 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Earl Howard Patrick and Alma Rebecca Surbaugh Patrick. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Roscoe May and brother, Don Earl Patrick and sister-in-law, Sheryl Patrick.

Mrs. Zana loved spending time with family and friends, serving others and worshipping her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was also a member of New Vision Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Ann Chapman of Lakeland, FL, Vickie Elkins (Michael) of South Point, OH and Amber May Boatright (Roy) of Alma, GA; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three nephews and a niece.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00 at New Vision Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Bobby Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church Monday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Vision Youth Department.

Active pallbearers will be: Roy T. Boatright, Tim nobles, Greg Griffin, Michael Leslie, Will Carter, Brandon Orvin and Tim Patrick. Honorary pallbearers will be: Michael Elkins, Twin Oaks Nursing Home and Members of New Vision Church.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
