Darlene Pruett Dodd, age 60, of Alma passed away suddenly at her residence Monday, March 14. She was daughter of the late Elmer Robert Dowell and Laverne Peacock Dowell and preceded in death by her husband Luther Malon Dodd, Jr. and a sister, Anita Dowell.

Survivors include four sons, Luther Malon Dodd III, (Carmon), William Matthew Franklin Pruett, (Tracy Anderson) of Alma, Jeffery Allen Pruett of Virginia and Joseph Eugene Dodd of North Carolina, two daughters, Scheryl Hunter (Timothy) and Zoie Marie Lamb (Curtis Thomas) of Alma, one brother, Robert Dowell (Jerry) of Hobbs, New Mexico and three sisters, Nora Dowell of Lubbock, TX., Sheryl Dowell of Phoenix, AZ. And Edna Shinn-Hobbs of New Mexico; also 7 grandchildren survive.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, March 17th at Crosby Funeral Home from 6 to 9 PM.

Cremation will follow after the Visitation.
